Napkin Man

An original table decoration.

For this we need:

  • 1 A4 size piece of sturdy cardboard
  • White and red felt cloth
  • Colored felt tip pens
  • Soft pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Red napkins

This is how it is done:
So that you are easily able to make the napkin man, we have created two cutting templates in their original sizes for you. Print these first and then cut them out carefully with the scissors. Putting the templates on the cardboard, you can now create stable templates for the napkin man.

You now place the first cardboard template on the white felt cloth, drawing around it with the soft pencil. Do not forget the inside area! Cutting along the line, you now have the first felt part of the napkin man.

You now repeat the process with the second template and the red-colored felt cloth, creating the second part necessary for the napkin man.

The second bit is now glued behind the first one.

On the second bit, you now draw a nice face.
You can look at the above picture for inspiration.
You can use simple lines for the eyebrows and dots for the eyes and nose.

The mouth of our napkin man is hidden behind the beard and thus is not drawn.

We are now nearly done!

Now glue the wings of the first bit together in back, sticking a folded red napkin through it (just like in the above figure).

Our napkin man is finished!
