Santa Claus Garland

Materials:

  • Construction paper in light brown, red, white, nude and black
  • Transparent paper
  • Thin carton
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Red crayon
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Ticket-punch
  • Natural bast
  • Sample clips

  1. First of all, create templates of all of the motives on the master. Copy the motives onto the transparent paper, cutting them out roughly and then gluing them onto the thin cartons. Afterwards, cut them out of the carton precisely along the outlines.
  2. Copy the motives as often as you want onto the appropriately colored construction paper with the help of the templates: the bag onto light brown, the coat of Santa Claus, the cap and nose onto red, the head and hands onto nude, the beard and bobble onto white and the boots onto black. Now cut out all parts.
  3. Punch holes right and left into the brim of the bag with the ticket-punch. Tie a bast thread around the brim into a ribbon.
  4. Glue the boots and hands of Santa Claus to the back of the coat and the head to the front side. Fixate the cap with the bobble and the beard to the head. Using the black marker, draw the eyes. Using the red crayon, create the cheeks and then glue the nose on.
  5. Punch holes into the hands of Santa Claus. Create a long row by alternately connecting a Santa Claus and a bag with the help of the sample clips to one another.
